What: OCTE 2011 Conference – Growing Success Through Technology

Our workshops deliver high interest technological problem solving activities and creative lesson ideas. Local Government Week - October 19-25, 2008

The Province of Ontario, AMCTO (Association of Municipal Managers, Clerks and Treasurers of Ontario) and the Association of Municipalities of Ontario have partnered to develop Local Government Week, to celebrate the key role that Ontario local governments play in helping to define the character, priorities, amenities and physical make-up of communities.

To support schools in the celebration of Local Government Week AMCTO has created elementary and secondary Learning Guides as well as a variety of resources for teacher/student use.

In anticipation of Local Government Week, copies of the Guides will be mailed to every school principal in Ontario and all municipalities mid-September, along with posters, flyers and additional information on how to get more activity ideas, etc., for Local Government Week (or for class use at other times throughout the school year).
