Be the Change was created by the Ontario School Library Association, and presents a wealth of resources and lesson ideas to:
Raise awareness of children’s rights
Create a sense of understanding of world citizenship
Empower the youth in our society to the reality that they can and do make a difference
Encourage students to take action

This is a Character Education curriculum Active Citizens Today Curriculumto engage students in Global Citizenship at the Local School level. This resource was developed through a collaboration of  UWO's Faculty of Education, The Thames Valley District School Board and Free the Children using a CIDA Global Classroom Initiative grant.
