This sample provides excerpts from the introductory section that appears in each booklet of the series. These excerpts provide insight into the general suggestions and ideas that are shared by the authors to aid teachers when planning and implementing Science and Technology programs for either straight grade or combined grade classes.

This sample provides example pages from the grade 4/5 combined grade unit "Exploring Matter and Energy". The sample includes one full learning event and other sample pages. Accompanying the sample pages is a description of the elements that are common to the various units and their learning events.

The straight grade units have a similar structure and include the added bonus of providing unique activities for learning event introductions and the links to Mathematics or Language.
